Eddie Eagle Safety Program
The Eddie Eagle Safety Program teaches children Pre-kindergarten through 3rd grade four important steps to take if they find a gun. These steps are presented in an easy to remember format consisting of the following simple rules:

Don’t Touch
Leave the Area
Tell an Adult
Hoover Tactical Firearms and the NRA are committed to helping keep America’s young children safe. In an effort to do so, this program is offered at no charge. The purpose of the Eddie Eagle Program isn’t to teach whether guns are good or bad, but rather to promote the protection and safety of children. The program has no agenda other than accident prevention. Class space is limited to 40 people (kids) so call ahead to reserve your space!!

This class in designed to introduce the student to basic safety and weapon handling protocol with a handgun. The student will learn the four rules of firearm safety, basic marksmanship skills and firing range procedures.

NRA First Steps Pistol Orientation (semi-auto)

(Semi-Automatic Pistols)
NRA FIRST Steps Pistol is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type for classes for four or fewer students. This course is at least three hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific pistol action type. Students will learn the NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; the particular pistol model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skills development. Students will receive the Basics of Pistol Shooting handbook, NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, Winchester/NRA Marksmanship Qualification booklet, FIRST Steps Course completion certificate.
$100- Includes Instruction, 20 rounds of ammunition, eye & ear protection, also one target per person.

Introduction to Defensive Shooting is a Cutting Edge Personal Defense course. This course will help develop the skill sets necessary for using a handgun for self-defense. Picking up where our basic handgun class leaves off, the student will apply the basic skills already learned to more advanced weapon manipulation techniques and proficiency drills.
